Jayson Hemphill, cannot remember a time in his life when he wasn’t singing. Music defines him. Early exposure to varying musical genres, and access to his uncle’s extensive collection of Elvis Presley records, fostered a rich appreciation of music at an early age and an insatiable need for musical expression which has remained with him throughout his life.

Jayson taught himself to play the piano in high school and began composing soon thereafter. At Millikin University, he developed a love for music production and recording which further enhanced his ability to create music.

As a singer, Jayson is blessed with a remarkably wide vocal range; able to croon a smooth ballad that will bring you to tears one minute, and then crank out a rockin’ high tenor that gets your blood pumping the next. He possesses exceptional leadership ability and has served churches in various roles including Director of Contemporary Worship Arts, and Worship and Music Coordinator.
